Todd Norman Luedtke was born on January 25th, 1947 in Kingston, New York and passed away Saturday, March 15, 2025 at his home in Altamont. He was the son of Norman and Caroline Luedtke. He was baptized as an infant at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kingston, New York.
He attended elementary school at Immanuel and Concordia Preparatory in Bronxville, New York for high school, graduating in 1964. He received his BA from Concordia Teacher's College in 1969 in River Forest, IL, for elementary and secondary teaching. He had a masters in theater from the University of Illinois in 1974 and ABD for a doctorate in theater from the University of Oregon from 1988 to 1991.
His international teaching career began at the Highlands Lutheran International School as teacher and principal from 1969-1972 and St. Paul's High School teacher and vice principal from 1972 to 1977 in Wapenamanda, Papua New Guinea.
