Margaret "Margie" Lankford (Walker), age 89, of Effingham passed away peacefully on March 5, 2025. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose kindness, generosity, and unwavering love touched everyone she met.
A celebration of life for both LaVerl and Margie Lankford will be held on March 15, 2025, at Bauer Funeral Home in Effingham, with visitation from 10–11 AM and the funeral to follow with burial at Arborcrest Memorial Park in Funkhouser.
