Myrna Carolyn (Hetzel) Hackman, 88, of Mattoon, IL, formerly of Effingham, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2024 at Palm Terrace of Mattoon, Mattoon, IL.
Private services will be held with burial in Funkhouser Cemetery. Services are in the care of Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham.

Myrna was born on March 1, 1936, in Effingham, IL, the daughter of Reginald and Stella (Byrum) Hetzel.
Myrna was a devoted mother, daughter and sister as family was everything to her. She retired from General Electric of Mattoon. She volunteered for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed playing Bunco. She also loved watching the Cardinals baseball team play.
