Daniel G. Field, 80, of Mason, IL, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, at home in Mason, Illinois surrounded by his loving family.
Dan was born on April 22, 1944, to Sidney and Irma (Goebel) Field in Effingham, Illinois. He married Florann Evans on July 28, 1962, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Effingham. He graduated from Effingham High School in 1962.
Dan was the father of a son, Mark Daniel (deceased), and two daughters, Dana Marie Hakman (Chris) and Shari Rae LaWarre (Steve). He was the proud Papa to nine grandchildren: Evan Hakman (Lauryn), Benton Hakman (Madeline), Nathan LaWarre, Sydney LaWarre, Anna Hakman, Ella LaWarre, Grace Hakman, Isabelle Hakman, and Corey Hakman. He was also blessed with two great-grandchildren, Clayton Hakman and Harper Hakman. Dan is survived by his brothers Paul and Harold "Dink" Field, and he was predeceased by his brother Mike. He is fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
