Jennie Louise Ashley, 47, of Windsor, IL, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2024 as a result of an automobile accident.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 at Johnson Funeral Home in Effingham. Burial will be in Wheeler Cemetery in Wheeler, IL. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a law enforcement walk-through taking place at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024 prior to the service at the funeral home.

Jennie was born on June 21, 1976, in Effingham, IL, to Byron "Bud" and Sarah "Opal" (Cook) Ashley.
Jennie attended high school at Dieterich High School, graduating in 1994. Jennie graduated from Olney Central College in Crime Scene Investigation and Criminal Law. She also studied at the University of Arkansas Grantham and was currently enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University with a year left until
